relaxing stay
5/5 We really enjoyed or stay. The front porch had a great view with a nice green space across the street.
Adorable house, nice host, horrible 3rd party rental company
3/5 The house is lovely, as advertised with a great view. Clean, warm and very cozy. The streets were somewhat busy w/ people coming and going at all hours. Host communicated well prior to arrival, let us coordinate early check in as it was offseason. Train can be heard in the distance but wasn’t a bother. The host was communicative but the third party rental company that owns the listing on VRBO was awful to work with, we encountered some issues and spent hours on the phone with them and they did not attempt to remedy anything. We ended up leaving a day early because we felt unsafe. Newburgh has a high crime rate with many offenders living in the surrounding area so keep your wits about you when walking around.

5/5 Wonderful stay in a beautiful historic home! Wonderful host, very responsive and flexible. Easy check-in. We all had such a great time. Plenty of space for our group of 8. Walkable distance to the cute downtown area with shops and cafes. As other reviewers said, you can hear the trains at night but we were all totally fine with it.
