2/5 We were locked out of the house, had to enter through an unlocked window. Then the hot tub had major issues, dirty filters, throwing many codes, wouldnt heat… maintenance guys were sent to the house at 11pm while we wanted to go to bed. Had to let them in the house to use the sink to clean the filters… my anxiety was through the roof, not very enjoyable stay. Communication with the hosts wasn’t great either, when we were locked outside I couldn’t get any help from anyone.

- The owner provided early check-in as a courtesy and responded promptly when you reached out about accessing the home. Their system showed the lock was functioning properly at the time, and they shared confirmation from their app. Based on the communication during check-in, it appeared the lock may not have been fully engaged when turning the knob. The owner also requested the specific error code to assist with troubleshooting, but did not receive a response.
- When concerns about the hot tub were raised, the owner arranged for a maintenance professional to come out as quickly as possible to address the filters and error codes. The late-night visit was intended to resolve the issue promptly so you could enjoy the amenity, and the owner acknowledges that better coordination around timing could have improved the experience.
