Weekend in the Finger Lakes
4/5 This was a great location for our weekend away in the Finger Lakes. The listing was accurate and as other reviewers noted, the property is a little older with some appliances being fairly dated. There was plenty of cookware and supplies needed to make a few meals during our stay. Check-in was smooth and host was responsive!

Accommodation could have been better
3/5 Lovely scenery; lots of things to do in the vicinity; nice evenings at the fire ring ... but
poorly equipped kitchen (no glasses for either water or wine;
no way to boil water that does not taste like coffee;
no ice cube tray;
lots of frying pans but no pots to cook things like noodles; ...).
Unexpected noise from Highway 54.
Dead bugs in cups stored on an open shelf.

Nice place but had a few problems
3/5 There were several not so insignificant issues throughout our stay from literally upon arrival late at night through the last day but the fantastic Starr at Evolve took care of them.

Comfortable stay
5/5 The house was very clean and well stocked for our weekend. There were only a couple of tiny things that needed to be addressed, but I think that they were just an oversight because I'm pretty sure this is a very new rental and we may have even been the first guests. Everything seemed new as far as linens, towels, cookware, etc. The house is older, but it is very cute and there was plenty of space for our party of four and space enough for 6-8 people altogether. The patio is a nice touch and great for outdoor dining and we loved having a fire pit to chill next to while enjoying the beautiful sunset. The view of the lake is great and the proximity to both Keuka and Seneca Lakes and all the wineries is perfect. Overall a fantastic stay.
