  My family was very pleased with the property, and we were very comfortable over the Thanksgiving holiday. Roosevelt was so wonderful to us and made sure we had what we needed. We cooked some side dishes for Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen was great to work in. We picked Glen Cove because of its proximity to family. We will definitely stay again! Thanks Roosevelt!

  The property was clean, well stocked, and very comfortable for our stay! It is in a very quiet neighborhood but also conveniently located.

• weekend stay

  The apartment was as depicted on the website. There were thoughtful decorations as well as additional supplies to support our stay, i.e. a new bottle of dish detergent, sufficient toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc. However, the pots and pans should be replaced as the non-stick surfaces were peeling and damaged which most people recognize as a health hazard. Upon our arrival, we noted a large hairball in the main bedroom which was likely missed by the cleaning crew. There were a few silver fish insects in the second bathroom tub as well. Other than those issues, our stay was quite comfortable. Our family enjoyed our short stay. The neighborhood was nothing special.

• Second stay, different from the first

  We stayed at this property 2 years ago when visiting my family in Bayville for Xmas. That stay was really nice. It was a different story this time. We'll find another place next time. In the end, we paid 2000 for a three night stay. Here's a few of the problems we experienced:Coffee maker didn't work (worst time to find out...in the morningwhen looking forward to a cup).Used towels left in the bathroom.Unwashed pans left in the cabinets (oil and food were left in the pan I grabbed).One of the kitchen stools was coming a part so badly that noone cold sit on it without falling off.There is no stopper for the bathtub so we needed to use duct tape in order to give our kids a bath.The walls are pretty thin and we could hear plenty from the family downstairs into the night.Overall, the place is nice, they just didn't take the time to make sure it was thoroughly cleaned and serviced. When I informed the owner of these problems on checkout, I was simply thanked for bringing them to his attention and left feeling like I had overpaid.
