• Fun house for our LG vacation

  We had a great time staying at this cabin for our Lake George vacation. We got plenty of use out of the man cave in the garage, lots of fun time with the kids. The house was comfortable and as advertised. Gigantic TV in the living room was great for a movie night (and now I think we have to buy one for our own house!) or just relaxing and watching our kids favorite YouTube videos.

• Lovely Cabin

  We chose this cabin for our vacation because it was located in a quiet area between Lake George and Saratoga. My youngest son is working at the racetrack this summer so this cabin fit our needs.

  The cabin is situated between 2 ponds but we didn’t find access to either one. The view from the fire pit area is very beautiful. We did enjoy the fire pit at night on a couple occasions and there was plenty of well seasoned wood available. My grown children, and their parents, had a great time using the game room. We played pool, ping pong, skeet ball and pinball.

  The house itself is very cute and clean and decorated in the Adirondack style. The living room is large and comfortable with a giant TV, but could use better lighting. The bedrooms are comfortable although the upstairs open bathroom is strange and two of the bedrooms are in the basement, but my boys didn’t mind.

  Our only complaint was the very low water pressure, especially with only one small shower for the five of us.

  During our visit we found plenty to do and visited Fort William Henry, went tubing down the Hudson River, went on the tour boat in Lake George, went on a hike, rented kayaks, went outlet shopping, and of course, bet on some horses at Saratoga. Overall we had an excellent time.

• The one with the open bathroom

  Overall this is a very nice cabin very quite and private. The mountain view is beautiful and if you squint through the trees you can see the ponds surrounding each side of the cabin. Our kids loved the garage/game/movie room!Upstairs is a loft style bedroom with an open concept half bath. If you are lying in bed the open bathroom is about 2-3' from the end of the bed. So needless to say my husband and I would travel downstairs to do our business in private. Also being that it is loft style you have to make sure you are getting dressed on one side of the room otherwise people downstairs can see you! If you are comfortable on this level then this cabin is for you! One last thing, the cabin states it can sleep up to 8, which is true. However, it only has 4 chairs for eating meals. Some kitchen stools around the counter or even a big picnic table outdoors would've nice. We are a family of 7 and 3 of us were constantly eating standing or sitting on the steps outside. Also, there is a picture listed of the pond, but this property does not have access to water. So that is a little deceiving because even though we knew it wasn't waterfront we still thought we could access it and use it.

• Peaceful vacation

  Beautiful house although the bedrooms (beds) were very small as well as the shower. Make sure you contact the owner, as the agency doesn't provide the correct code to get in the house nor did the owner even know it was rented out. House is NOT on the lake, nor can you see the lake... although there are 2 on both sides of the house.

  - We do not advertise this property as waterfront, though it is very close to two ponds. One can be seen from the yard, and both are within walking distance.

• Great place to stay for a family

  Plenty of room, well furnished and equipped. Kids loved the arcade, jukebox, and projector in the garage. Lots to do in the area. Great place to relax. Saw an eagle fly past the back porch.
