Could have been better
2/5 Called and emailed first night about wireless connection. The WiFi and password on the table incorrect. Has to figure that in our own as no one returned email, text or voicemail. Once connected it didn't work well. . TV kept freezing. No blinds on any Windows. . Property outside was ok but not well kept. The area is beautiful... Despite the property. T
Place seemed slapped together rent. The water coming from the taps was not drinkable.
You can tell money was put into the place but never pushed over the finish line. Live and learn I would not recommend this property for the price.

Needs more improvements
3/5 The house is nice. Would like to go back after they finish making improvements. The docks is very mucky to get to. There are planks so you don’t have to walk in the muck. I feel the planks are not secure.. They need to clear brush on path to the dock. Add more planks that are secure. Then you can get to the lake.

Otter Lake over the 4th
5/5 Place was rustic just 2 drawbacks, first being internet reception in Otter Lake is generally poor, not owners fault.
Second as rainy this spring has been path to lack through woods was not passable. Cabin was very functional though

Cute Rustic Cottage
4/5 The experience of watching the eclipse with my family out on the dock was awesome. We enjoyed taking the canoe out around Otter Lake and barbecuing in the yard. It was very relaxing. It was fun exploring the different areas around Forestport.
