This was a quaint and cozy cabin. We enjoyed it. It had everything we needed to cook our meals and make our stay comfortable. We loved the jacuzzi especially after our hike! It certainly helped our sore bodies.

However , when we arrived, the road leading to our cabin was under construction. There were no detour signs but we did find backroads to lead us there. There was also only one air conditioning unit in the upstairs main bedroom. That wasn’t a big deal. We left the bedroom door open for our son and his girlfriend as they slept in the two twin beds out on the loft. With ceiling fan, it cooled it down pretty good. Their beds weren’t very comfortable either but they dealt with it.

We also lost power one night during our stay due to stormy weather. We ended up buying these very expensive camping lights after we went out to dinner, incase it was still out. By time we got back to the cabin, it was back up. Kudos to the electric company out there. All that said, our stay was still very nice!

    5/5

Loved this property, we were looking for a quiet family friendly place to spend the weekend and we were blown away by this listing.

Our little family enjoyed easy hiking around the property itself, building fires, roasting smores, and making memories.

This property had everything, solid wifi in a low service area, many activities from Frisbee golf to a karaoke machine. One thing we all appreciated was the detailed instructions with pictures to assist with managing everything in the household.

10/10 will stay here again but next time gonna be for longer and more family

  • What a relaxing spot.

    5/5

We loved our stay at the Little Cabin in the Woods. We chose the cabin for its location being close to town for groceries and restaurants yet far enough from town for the wilderness. Very private location in the pine forest very peaceful. Loved the private trails on the property and they are well marked and gorgeous. Nice a map was provided for the trail. The jacuzzi was a nice feature to use after long hikes. Bed was comfortable and the view out the window upstairs allowed us to watch a deer and her 3 babies feeding on the clover. One idea might be to provide firewood for the fire pit as some users might not have a car big enough to buy the bundles that are for sale in town. Other cabins we’ve been to have a stack or wood. We surely loved our stay and would highly recommend The Cabin in the Wood.

  • Cozy cabin

    5/5

This cabin is a little piece of heaven. It is spotlessly clean. The windows in the bedroom allow for stargazing in the comfort of a comfy mattress. Loved the firepit and the jacuzzi.
