Country Escape
4/5 This is well cared for older home with an expansive yard. The renovated kitchen had all the amenities one would need for a pleasant stay; the beds were comfortable and towels and sheets of good quality. It felt like home and it was a great place to unwind and watch the fireflies after busy summer days.
I would have given it a 5 star recommendation except that the ac didn't work and the tv was awkward to operate. But our host Jeff, was very apologetic about the ac and had a repairman come that day. When it became apparent that they would not be able to repair it during our stay, he came the next day with 3 new room air conditioners. He even offered us a partial refund.
So, all and all, a good stay and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet spot in a busy part of Westchester County.
Home away from home.
5/5 This excellent property was conveniently located, comfortable, and equipped with all the necessities to make for an enjoyable stay. It is very safe and secure with a gorgeous enormous yard.

Very okay
3/5 This was a nice enough place in a meh town. The house itself was in the country. Smelled a bit like cat. On the plus side, the cooking area was very nice and they had a bidet. They had a gas grill, but no gas. Bed was comfortable enough and they let us bring our dogs for a $100 fee. All in all, ok. We actually left early.

- We purchased the gas grill right before your arrival to improve your stay and didn't realize it needed a separate gas tank. This issue has now been resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience
- While Cortlandt Manor isn't an exciting town for travelers, the next town
over, Peekskill has some great restaurants, bars, nice outdoor areas, and hiking
