For the nights that you decide not to cook at the residence, Caliente offers a variety of delicious local eateries. The Brandin' Iron as well as Knotty Pine Restaurant & Lounge are both a 2-minute drive from the house and offer tasty traditional American classics!

Caliente is an old railroad town. City Hall used to be a train depot, and you can still see the trains coming through the middle of town.

Nature lovers rejoice at this location close to plenty of national parks. Head to Cathedral Gorge, which offers bubbling springs and creeks. Go 30 minutes to Eagle Valley reservoir, or find one of the many walking trails and just take in the beauty around you.

Visit the Alamo or Ash Springs. Kershaw-Ryan State Park offers a natural spring pool, volleyball, trails, and more!

Caliente is a mountain bikers dream with plenty of trails to suit all levels.

    We loved our stay at this adorable comfortable cottage in Caliente. Very clean and cozy with a very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and great bath tub! The whole area of course is beautiful. Highly recommended.

  • Beautiful and Quite Home Away From Home

    This home is beautiful inside and out. There is nothing like it for over 100 miles in every direction! We enjoyed a very comfortable stay while visiting three state parks just minutes away. Everything about this home is new and remodeled. Washer, dryer, fully-equipped kitchen, super clean and comfortable in a small quiet friendly town. Property manager was kind, helpful and very responsive.

  • Charming home in a small community to relax, recharge and enjoy!

    We brought our grandsons with us to this sweet rental property to experience some of Nevada?s beauty and history. Every time a train came through Caliente, the kids would watch out the home?s front window. The train sounds were far enough from the house so it was very quiet for sleeping during the day or night. As we relaxed on the front porch, Caliente?s residents made us feel like a local with welcoming waves. The owner of the property was available and quick to communicate. The house has everything you need to relax and enjoy! Special care has been give to make the house comfortable, relaxing and welcoming. Bedding was comfy. The kitchen is well stocked with everything one would need for cooking. There was even plastic ware for my young grandson?s little fingers! A block away from the house was a park with skate ramps and playground equipment. Unbeknown to us we had packed the boys scooters so we made multiple trips to the park. We made a trip to nearby town of Pioche. The highlights of the town was to take a self-guided tour of the Lincoln County Million Dollar Courthouse and creepy jail and The Boot Hill Cemetery. We also enjoyed the little museum downtown next to the library; it has a beautiful gemstone collection. On the way back to Caliente we stopped at Cathedral Gorge State Park for a picnic and an quick hike through the caves! Thanks for opening your house to us! This was our second time staying with you. Now the boys want to come back!

  • Cozy, comfortable, charming and perfect!

    I spent three nights in Caliente with my sister in this perfect little home while we did genealogy research. The home was so quiet and comfortable. The kitchen is as amazing as the photos! Bedrooms very comfortable. We only discovered the fairy garden in back as we were leaving the property, and it made us smile even more. We will be back
