Renting this home was extremely easy. It was in a great location, near the library and walking trails. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. The yard was perfect for the dogs. Seeing the wildlife was awesome and watching the wild horses travel among the people was a treat.

The good - you get a lot of square footage for the price. It's a nice, clean, cute house and a good location. Elk graze in a nearby field almost nightly, and I saw deer and a variety of birds in the yard several times. Plenty of cooking supplies, including spices. The bad - all the beds are super firm. If I hadn't gone on 5 hour hikes every day (thus making me exhausted) I'm not sure I would have been able to sleep. Even my gf who prefers hard beds said it was too hard. And the main couch in the living room has got to go. It's about 10 years past its lifespan. Overall 4 stars.

Sadly, we were disappointed in the overall experience with this property. Everything about it is dark, drab and outdated (think, 1985...maybe). Much more so than the pictures online depict. Everything about the house needs an update, particularly the bathrooms, which were marginally functional. The overall condition of the house weakened our vacation experience. I would recommend clicking through to the next option...

It was a perfect location and nice. The only downfall was that there was no A/C and it was kind of warm. But if you needed to talk to the manager he answered.

The property was what was in the picture. It was the perfect location; a bit off the beaten path without being secluded. We enjoyed our stay at this property and would stay at it again, if available, during a future visit to Ruidoso.
