As you feel the heat heal your body, you'll be listening to the soothing sounds of singing birds and rushing waterfalls.

  • Very unique home

    3/5

The home was unique in its location and the metal fencing and gates. The river and the view were amazing.

  • Beautiful location at your grandpa's cabin

    3/5

This property is in a stunning area! We felt a little like we'd called up our grandpa to stay at his cabin (more like family stepping into the house and making ourselves at home than staying as guests at a rental.) The check in process was very specific and the number of gates and locks felt excessive to us, but we're sure Howard (who was lovely) has his reasons.

  • Amazing!!

    5/5

Sweetest owners that meet you at the property to unlock the gates to let you into the property. Amazing home with your grandparents charm and the iron work that this man did absolutely amazing, very close to the beautiful river that you get to fall asleep to and wake up to. Our family will be coming back for sure hopefully a few times a year. Thank you Howard for letting us enjoy your family’s amazing home!!

  • Nice place

    4/5

Nice place. Big enough inside for 6 adults. We were 3 adults and one teen. Easy access to everything. A lot of outdoor living area. Only thing is driveway was pretty steep. Owners are very nice! Even furnished some wood for fireplace. Will stay there again!

    5/5

Location was beautiful. Easy to find but you have to be mindful of cell service or lack of... Had difficulty receiving instructions due to poor reception, but fortunately it was easy to find with help from friendly neighbors & Howard did wait a bit longer for us to arrive. MANY THANKS!!! Keeping track of multiple keys for various locks, took some time but the property was secure. We initially questioned all the locks but after observing tool marks and cracked windows, it was probably for the best. Plenty of clean linens, cooking equipment, silverware, etc. Nice collection of Pueblo pottery, Native Am blankets, baskets...,another reason for security. Not much in way of nearby groceries or restaurants, but very convenient to hiking paths: Soda Dam, natural hot springs, scenic drive to Valle Caldera & Los Alamos. Would stay again & spend more time in river. Thank you Howard for sharing your art & cabin w/ us.
