  This was the perfect spot for quick access to all of the Carlsbad activities. We have 3 kids, and there was plenty of space for everyone to sleep and hang out. The dock access to the river was fun for fishing! The host has a closet full of floaties and things for swimming, we didn’t stay during a warm enough month for that but we still enjoyed the view.

  We were a group (three couples) of college friends who all love the outdoors. The patio facing the river proved to be an excellent place to hang out and catch up. The host was very attentive and was quick to help when needed. The host also gave excellent recommendations for eating. I would recommend this place to friends and family, and will stay here again when in the area.

  Location was perfect to town and Carlsbad Caverns. The water in the backyard added a day a lake fun! The beds were a bit on the hard side. I would recommend a fan.

  The place was great! Clean, well stocked, and we very much appreciated the coloring books for the kids, that was a really nice touch. Nice location, lots of activities close by. Would definitely stay again next time we are in Carlsbad!
