The location was great -- can walk to the ski resort, though down a lot of stairs, so it wouldn't be ideal if you're having to carry all of your ski gear -- so we made use of storage at the resort. It's a large property -- so many bedrooms! Lots of space to spread out. The property manager was very responsive by cell/text.
There were a few things that were not great.
1) The listing said "garage" but this particular unit (G4) doesn't have a garage.
2) The temperature was hard to control. It was often pretty warm at bedtime, even with the thermostats set to 50, and then in the early morning hours would get much cooler.
3) The biggest issue for us was the showers were inconsistent temperature. The downstairs one was pretty hot, the upstairs one was just luke warm -- and if you were using it and someone turned on the downstairs one, the upstairs got ice cold for a while! We mainly splurged for this unit to get 2 showers so people could shower 2 at a time, but ended up having to go 1 at a time.

Owner's response: "Ryan, it is the homeowner's mission to provide a 5-star experience for all their guests, and we are disappointed that this property was not a fit for you.
- We're not sure if you were looking at a different listing, because we do not provide a garage as one of our amenities. We have parking for 2 vehicles in the driveway as well as street parking if needed and if available.
- We like many homes in the Angel Fire area do not have AC we provide our guests with baseboard heating and also individual space heaters in each room. In this area if you crack open a window it will cool things off rather nicely, we are in the mountains and it cools off in the early mornings. We have not had any complaints about not being able to control the temperatures.
- The house has 3 showers, and all work just fine if you set the temperature to your desired temperature. There are two extra large water heaters as well, so it shouldn’t matter if you're showering at the same time as your other guests.
We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we know we can deliver."
We overall enjoyed our time here at this property. Fee notes: never had hot water in the shower in the top floor which was annoying, no Kleenex in the house, several light bulbs were out, it was very inconvenient to be asked to take out the trash especially since it was located a long distance away and we had to drive to to do that. Seems like at other properties that is something the cleaning service could do. Overall enjoyed the location otherwise

Although it might not be necessary I strongly recommend having a 4 wheel drive vehicle available. Family friendly, I would rent this unit again. Stairs in this unit can be challenging if a person isn't active.

The home was great, well equipped with all the creature comforts you will need or forgot. Internet work great if you need to get some business done. Short walk to the lifts, but the trek back home is uphill.
Over all I would stay again.
Less than 10min walk to chili express. Warmup in sauna before you hit the slopes.
