Relaxation
5/5 Overall wonderful cabin! Kitchen comes with most things you might need. It was quite hot the day we arrived and it didn’t cool down until way late. The cabin does come with AC units but they are not wall units, they are big box units that are on the floor and pretty loud. We made sure to open all windows with screens and kept the front door open to allow a breeze which was great! We spent most of our time outside. The front porch has wonderful views, it was very relaxing. It rained one day we were there so we hung out on the porch and just watched the storms roll through. We got to see some wild horses right outside the cabin, we all really enjoyed that. The hot tub was a great way to relax at the end of the day!
Wonderful Stay at Lacy's Log Cabin
5/5 Lacy's Log Cabin is comfortably furnished and well appointed with everything we needed during our stay. The interior of the cabin has a lot of character, and is spacious and clean. The appliances in the cabin are newer, and the ones we used worked well. Plenty of dishes, utensils and a nice set of cookware were available for our use.
The outdoor decks are large and also well furnished. We were greeted by a beautiful wild horse, walking through the yard, our first evening at the cabin. The next morning, we watched a herd of deer grazing in the yard, and we spotted several jack rabbits while walking around the neighborhood. The sunsets over the mountains were beautiful.
We had fun exploring the area, seeing Fort Stanton, and hiking the nearby mountain trails. We hope to stay at this cabin again. It was really special, and our little Morkie, Lacey, liked it, too!
