House and location were perfect. Only things that I would change are the lack of grill tools, glassware/coffee mugs, and plates/bowls. The only thing available was a delicate china set that just didn’t cut it for burgers and hotdogs.

We enjoyed our stay and had a great week at the beach. A couple of small things would have made it perfect:
1. Most vacation rentals have a "housebook" with instructions for everything from operating the TV to places to eat. When we had questions or ran into problems, we had to call the designated representative. While they were responsive and helpful, we felt like a nuisance and would have rather looked it up ourselves. We never did get the TV going, so our little one spent the week watching YouTube videos off a laptop.
2. The upstairs bathtub had no shower curtain, so you couldn't use the shower wand without getting water all over the non-tiled bathroom walls and floors, which we didn't want to do. So difficult to wash one's hair, all 4 of us ended up using the 1 shower downstairs.
3. Lots of dishware and cooking supplies, but a couple of key items missing--like tongs and tools for the grill. We ended up borrowing them from the kind neighbor next door.
As I said, just a few touches would have made it really great.
It's nice, but a couple criticisms - there is no tv or radio, so on a rainy day you will be watching movies on your phone. Cookingware is lacking, if you prefer to cook some meals there is little to work with. There is no dining table, just an island and 3 stools to eat. No grill, no umbrellas or cushions for the outside chairs. No shades or curtains in the living room and kitchen, wide open to the neighborhood. The bedrooms and bathrooms have awful paper shades held up by clothes pins. But to be fair...the cottage is super clean and everything is new, off street parking in the alley, most everything is within walking distance. Its nice, but we've had better at a comparable price. If the owners addressed these nitpicks this place would be practically perfect.
