• Wonderful home in Lake Hopatcong!

  Great property near all the cool things around Lake Hopatcong and super close to Sparta and Lake Mohawk.

  Our daughter has a home nearby but not big enough to host 10 family members. We used this property as home base and so glad we did. Spacious living and dining rooms, great kitchen with all the amenities, nice sized bedrooms - what more to ask for. Oh did I mention that it is on the water!!! We will be back in the summer! Thanks Tony (property manager) for all you did.

• Beautiful house

  Real vacation house! Beautiful modern amenities- fun colored lighting in the living room- staircase motion detection- really cool! Beds were so comfy and beautiful right on the lake! Very clean- sparkling!! Attended a wedding at Perona farms- 15 minute drive- perfect! Loved the house- wish we stayed longer!!!

  Horrible check in experience. Received an email from evolve indicating the code to unlock the front door. Arrived after a 5 hour flight with my 84 year old mother in law to a code that was not working. Called and text the guest contact who is also the owner with no response. Evolve was also contacted and the backup code provided also did not work. The also reached out to the owner and Dylan the cleaner for help. Ended up having to check into a hotel room at my expense. Evolve in the meantime sent alternative stays but they were an hour and a half away. Owner/guest contact called at 3 am and apologized that he was in Europe. Text me another code and said he will reimburse me for the hotel stay and extend another day or two if I want. Also offered unlimited use of firewood. It was 80 degrees with 50% humidity most days. A fire was not appealing. The code he text did not work and he had to program and send me another code. Also during our stay a county vehicle approached us and told us that the house is not registered as a vacation rental and the owner owes back taxes. We traveled to the area to have a celebration of life ceremony for my 85 year old father in law in Mendham where he was from. The house has trip hazards and the paper blinds do not help to block any bit of daylight out. Also, the neighbors don’t like that it’s a rental and made it known. Evolve and the owner’s resolution for the inconvenience was to allow us to stay an “extra” night. It wasn’t “extra” but the night we paid for in the beginning anyway.
