We had a great stay. John was available for anything we needed. The location was perfect and the property was accurate in description. Would recommend this place. Also lots of water toys available and John invited us on his pontoon boat.

  • terrible not what it was listed as

The property was listed as a lakeside cabin when in reality it was the back of this guys house no view. the owner had a piece of plywood across a doorway separating you from him. The lake is across a busy road. The exterior of the property was littered with tripping hazards. To reach the door you had to transverse garden hoses sprawled about the walkway. Planks over the steps leading up from the parking area. and a crumbling shoreline to the lake. Inside the bed rooms were upstairs the bathroom downstairs . To reach the bedrooms you had to go up a very narrow spiral stairway that was so open at the top it would have been easy to fall off. We did not feel safe staying there Two other cabins on this small piece of property not mentioned in even worst condition. The outside of the property was in need of some sprucing up. as their was parts of old boats and other items scattered about.. We did not stay even one night.

    Manager's Response:

Hi Steven, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed that this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: 1) The listing accurately advertises that we, the homeowners, live on-site in a completely separate unit and may be present at the property during guests' stays. The listing also notes that other vacation rentals exist on the property with some shared outdoor amenities, and also that the bedrooms are located upstairs via a spiral staircase. 2) When you reached out about your concerns and provided documentation, the property management team came to a fair resolution to reimburse a portion of your stay but did not note any safety concerns. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

  • Hidden GEM!

We loved our stay at this rental. John and Charlotte live on the property and give you a great experience! Allowing use of all their water toys and space on the lot for outdoor grilling, campfire and other fun! It was especially perfect for our stay as it is dog friendly & we had to travel with our 2 pups! We will be going back for sure!

Beautiful lake property with plenty of boats to use. Small house attached to owners that were present during the stay. Very clean Warm upstairs for sleeping. Could use ceiling fans.

  • Cleanest lake around!

You will not find a better place if you are interested in lake access. They have every toy you could ever want for the lake. The property is 20-25 minutes from most restaurants/stores. The area we stayed in is small and the upstairs is SUPER hot at night so definitely bring fans!!!
