The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. John is a great guy and upon arriving let us know everything we needed to know about the cabin. The lake was beautiful!

Beautiful location! Love having water toys available to use on the crystal clear lake. Bedsheets, blankets, comforters could use a refresh.

Owners are very nice, WiFi was spotty, kitchen had everything we needed except sharp knives, enough forks and a working can opener. We had a great time.

Lake Stinson is beautiful. The cottage however, was filthy. The door swings and closes like a guillotine.i immediately pointed it out. They said use the cinder block on the deck to hold it open. I pointed out to both John and his wife that it would let mosquitos to no avail. Dangerous especially for children or elderly. It was never addressed. There was not one comfortable chair in the entire house.the upholstery was apparently original a long, long, time ago, it was covered with aged dust and the cushion were all sinking and hard wood in the middle and painful. The grime and darkness of the entire place suggested it had never been cleaned for years. The beds were equally disgusting and folded into the middle. There were cobwebs in the corners and dirt on the floors. John would walk the dog through the yard as our cottage was behind his house. He also came over when we were in the water and asked if we wanted privacy but didn't leave, Their kitchen window faces the cottage and it felt like we were being spied on constantly. We had to be bring our sling chairs into the house for a comfortable seat. He jovially said 'You're wealthy' when we arrived, which I found to be highly insulting, when he is far wealthier than I am and treats his property like an antique that should never be touched. This property should be delisted from any service. The appliances worked. Another painful realization was that 2690 Stinson Lake Road is about 4 miles in and to get a cup of coffee was 10 mi
