Plan your next New Hampshire lake escape to this charming 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom vacation rental cabin on Stinson Lake! Nestled in a tranquil setting, this quaint cabin offers hardwood flooring, skylights, comfortable home furnishings, and a sunroom. Explore Lake Stinson, work on your tan on the shared aluminum dock, read a book in the sunroom, or simply explore the White Mountain National Forest! If you're looking to venture further, explore cates at the Polar Caves Park!
When you're not dining at the cabin, be sure to grab a bite to eat at one of the local restaurants by the house. Rumney Rock Restaurant is excellent for a nice family meal. Be sure to grab dessert at Grandpas Dairy Barn afterward.
The lake is constantly praised as a quiet and peaceful spot which is perfect for families or anyone looking to truly enjoy nature. Across the street, you'll have access to a shared dock as well as a private beach made for watching sunsets.
Some other ideas for fun in the area include driving 12 minutes to the Polar Caves Park, watching for wildlife around the lake, or taking a scenic drive through the White River National Forest.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for Labor Day weekend. John and Charlotte were welcoming and showed us around the property and lake area. We were able to hang out on the lake, with use of the kayaks, paddle boats and large floating mat to just relax. The highlight was bringing our morning coffee down to the water and watching a family of loons feeding. The unit had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We would love to return again!!

Very nice cabin..It advertised a row boat, kayaks and canoe..the canoe was not usable, the two person kayak had a hole, the row boat had no oar locks so it could not be used as a rowboat. There were two paddle boats which were very hard to paddle and steer. The hosts were very nice and the other guests were personable.

We have a lovely stay at Stinson Lake! The views were amazing. We loved riding our bikes around the lake. Dock access was very nice as the water is beautiful! The owners were very accommodating.

The view from the sunroom was impeccable and I spent many hours reading there. The cottage had many windows and skylight for a light and airy feeling. However, communication with the host was not the easiest as none of the VRBO messages were answered through the app before arrival (only email yielded some terse answers) and despite multiple requests about linens for the roll away cot they were never provided. Additionally it took multiple requests to have the rather soiled propane grill cleaned, the pilot on the gas stove went out repeatedly, and the cottage had received a cursory cleaning prior to checkin (spiders and hair in the shower, cherry under the kitchen table, hair bunnies on the couch surface). The toilet tank also sweats onto the floor which causes a mild odor from dampness. Linens provided were threadbare for towels in bath and kitchen. Kitchen tools did not include anything for baking or barbecuing but the MCM plates and platters were a pleasure. The road between the cottage and the lake is busier than ever with speeding construction traffic so take that into account with children and pets. Enjoyed our time, but the cottage needed a more thorough cleaning and improved comms.

View of the lake from the screened in porch was great!
