Sparse accommodations, but overall a nice place to use as a base for adventuring in this area.

We had a nice relaxing stay, the owners were very friendly and inviting. Next time we may have to book all 3 units so we can have our kids and their spouses come. Dog friendly too.

The property setting and lake view is spectacular. We have no problem staying in a "rustic" setting. We do have a problem when rustic is an excuse for unfinished and not clean. Electrical was the first issue with open switch boxes and missing light bulbs. Poor ground maintains and a dirty shower curtain. The lid for the pots and pans had grease still on it. We left a day early and never looked back. Also, no beach existed. If you are looking for a lake setting this place is perfect as long as you can put up with sub par accommodations.

Hi Andy, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- We sincerely apologize for the cleanliness issues during your stay. It appears that our cleaner may have overlooked checking the pot lid. We will address this issue with our cleaner and ensure that such oversights are corrected. Additionally, we'll discuss the condition of the shower curtain and work on cleaning it or replacing it if necessary.
- The open switch box does not have a cover, and it is an original and very old circuit breaker box. There was a light that was not working; when we unscrewed it, it started working, so we reset it, and it seemed to be okay. We also left a replacement bulb. During the off-season, we plan to consider all guest comments when performing maintenance.
- The yard remains as is, and our landscaper adheres to a scheduled mowing and trimming routine.
- This year, due to heavy rainfall, the beach area, which is 100 feet long, has been reduced from 5 feet to approximately 2 feet from the water to the embankment. Some days, the water level reaches the bottom of the steps, leaving no beach available on those days. We try our best to provide a great environment for guests, but sometimes external factors like the weather are simply out of our control.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Your feedback is important to us, and we appreciate the opportunity to address these concerns.
We loved our stay and hope to get out there again in the future. John and Charlotte very friendly and inviting. The eagle sight’s amazing 1 came and picked up a fish right in front of us. There is a beautiful water fall around there that I won’t reveal, go and explore 😊
