This property features 3 exterior security cameras: 1 camera is located at the doorbell facing the front entrance, 1 camera is located on top of the garage facing the driveway, and 1 camera is located on the back porch facing the back entrance. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The back porch camera will be off during guest stays. - From the Boston area:
- Take Route 93 North to Route 89 North (or Route 3 to Everett Turnpike to 93 North to Route 89 North)
- Take Exit #9 route 103 west off Route 89. This is the Warner NH exit. There is gas, a McDonalds and
Demoulas Market Basket at this exit
- Take a right at the end of the exit onto Route 103 to Newbury. Stay on Route 103 past Newbury Harbor and the Sunapee State Park traffic circle. Follow signs to Newport
- Turn right at the set of lights immediately past downtown Newport, continuing to follow Route 103 West.
Continue past McDonald's, Shaw's, etc
- You will see a sign with a left arrow toward Unity. Take a left at the top of the hill past McDonald's on
Unity Road
- Continue on Unity Road until you reach a stop sign. This is approximately 7 miles. (You will go several
miles past Newport Golf Course)
- Turn right at the stop sign towards Claremont
- Go 2 miles. You will see a yellow-diamond-shaped intersection sign marking an upcoming intersection. Take a left at this intersection. This left is marked North Shore Road
- Take the first left on Anderson Road. You will see a variety of hand-made signs for individual homes.
You can watch for a red & white Santa Claus hat marked Clauss and our Black/White and Red sign
saying “Sewall.” Take the first right on Shorewood Estates Rd
- We share the first driveway on the left (marked Clauss Lane). At the top of the driveway, we have a
sign that says: The “Hitching Post Sewall,” this is it!
- After taking the left, bear immediately/instantly down the driveway to the right

CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS:
- Check in after 3:00 PM
- Early check-in cannot be accommodated
- The Guest Contact will make arrangements with you in advance for the keys 
- Upon your arrival, you will need to raise the heat. There are three main heating sources. One of them can be controlled remotely, so the Guest Contact will increase the heat prior to your arrival. For the other two, you just need to turn up to your desired temperature, and they do react quickly. One heater is by the front door, and the other is in the living room
- In the winter, the main water is off in the basement. Set all faucets to OPEN
- Please inform the Guest Contact of any problems or concerns upon arrival so we can work to address these immediately

CHECK-OUT INSTRUCTIONS:
- Check out before 10:00 AM
- Late check-out cannot be accommodated 
- Please return the key to where you found it
- Prior to your departure, please tidy up the property by doing the following:
- Remove all perishable items
- Take out the trash. Please use the large trash can adjacent to the right side of the garage. Please do not
take it to the top of the driveway
- Load and start the dishwasher
- Strip linens from all used beds
- Place all used linens and towels in a pile
- Please start a load of towels in the washer before checking out. You do not need to dry. This is an enormous help to the cleaning person
- Please be sure to promptly clean up and dispose of all pet waste
- Please be sure the grill LP tank is turned to the closed position and the grill is cleaned
- Be sure the fire pit is cold. Please empty old cold coals in the coal bucket next to the firepit and dispose of them along the tree line near the woodpile or in the compost bins. Cover the fire pit with a large round steel cover. It's a two-person job. If you can't do it safely, please don't do it
- Turn the hot water heater off. Press the power button two times to turn off
- Close umbrellas
- Put cushions in the basement on the couch
Be sure the pedal boat is tied to the dock and bailed. Keep the lines a bit loose so there is enough slack if the lake goes up and down
- Put the life jackets in the deck box
- Turn off all lights, electronics, and appliances
- Close all windows. Don't worry about locking them
- Additional fees will be imposed if the property is found in an unsatisfactory condition, so please return it to the condition in which you found it

HOUSE RULES:

- No events, parties, or large gatherings
- No fireworks
- Please keep evening outdoor noise to a minimum as a courtesy to other lake homeowners and guests, especially after 10:00 PM. The town has a noise curfew they enforce after 10:00 PM
- Loud music is not allowed at any time
- No large fires
- Only guests included in your guest count are allowed on the property
- Must be at least 25 years old to book
- Please report any damages that occur to both the Guest Contact and Evolve

- This 3-story home requires exterior steps to enter. Additional interior steps are required to access the kitchen on the main level
- This property runs on a septic system, thus it is critical no items (feminine products, floss, food, toys, etc) other than toilet paper be flushed down the toilet
- The basement is quite cool during the winter. It is not heated
- There is a composting bucket on the kitchen counter to the left of the sink. The composting bin is on the right side of the garage
- We strongly suggest you bring an Amazon firestick, google chromecast or roku for your streaming needs. We have one Roku on one TV, but you could use one on the other TV. These will only work on your own personal account
- If you are bringing a power boat, the Guest Contact must know in advance. There are very strict safety rules on the lake from the State of NH, and they are enforced. Additionally, every boat must be inspected at the lake boat landing before going into the water
- The boat dock is in use only in the summer. It is not available in Fall, Winter, and Spring
- All-wheel drive is recommended in the winter months to access the property. The driveway is a bit steep. If you do not have all-wheel drive, you should park in the space at the top of the driveway and walk down
- The basement is not heated
