We were holding our annual family camp at nearby Singing Hills Christian Camp and needed some extra room. The house was five minutes away and worked out well for us.

The house is great for a group of 6-8 people and the location is perfect for trips to Kimball Union or Dartmouth College.

The house is a nice house but the basement level is full of mildew. The mildew smell fills the first and second floor. One of the bedrooms has mold on the air conditioner, window and mini blinds. I emailed the contact email about this. I hope they take care of it. We were coughing and sneezing from the mildew. Some needed their asthma inhalers. We hope the mildew and mold problem can be taken care of before the next guests.

Hi Michelle, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- Our guest contact has thoroughly investigated your comments and found no evidence of mildew odor on the first or second floor. However, the basement experienced increased humidity, mainly due to the higher-than-usual rainfall in New Hampshire over the summer. To ensure the comfort of our future guests, we've installed a dehumidifier in the basement.
- We wish you had reached out to the guest contact during your stay if there were any issues you needed to be addressed. We would have done everything we could to resolve them immediately so that you could enjoy the home.
- As a gesture of hospitality, we have provided an appropriate refund for your inconvenience.
