  • Nice property in peaceful environment. Good location.

    4/5

Loved the historical charm and layout of the property. Check-in process was easy using the coded keyless entry. The backyard was enormous and we enjoyed the peace and privacy of the property. However, the gas grill was very dirty and needed a thorough cleaning before we could even use it. Also, the flavorizer/heat distribution bars were rusty and corroded and should be replaced.

Excellent wi-fi in the farmhouse. Softest bed I've ever slept in, but I found it to be very uncomfortable. Nice flat screen TV, but it only has capability for streaming services, no cable or satellite service. The bathroom on the main floor was spacious with a good shower and plenty of hot water.

Excellent wi-fi in the farmhouse. Softest bed I've ever slept in, but I found it to be very uncomfortable. Nice flat screened TV, but it only has capability for streaming services, no cable or satellite service. Lots of moths came out at night attracted by the lights, so be prepared for company. Steps to upstairs bedrooms were steep, as advertised, but there was a handrail. Would have been nice to have at least a toilet upstairs, so you wouldn't have to navigate the steep steps in the middle of the night, especially for children. The one bathroom on the main floor was spacious with a good shower and plenty of hot water.

The listing from Evolve says there is a $50 pet fee per visit, but I was charged $108 for my little 7 lb Papillon pup, in addition to the $200 cleaning fee.

  • Hanover Weekend

    5/5

Lovely but rainy weekend., couldn’t use amenities such as kayaks because of the weather but hiked Mount Cardigan and enjoyed the warmth of the BnB.
