  Great location for us. We are going to a Camp Kabeyun reunion and it was very convenient. There was some cleanliness issues with crumbs and such but overall the property was great.

  The house was clean and plenty of room for 8 people. The lake with a dock is right across the street. Good fishing right off the dock in the morning.

  This place was in a great location, just across the road from the lake.

  It was very peaceful.

  The house had all equipment/utensils/condiments and cleaning things you would have at home.

  Anthony was a welcoming host.

• Decent place but didn't live up to expectations.

  The house was okay but it felt like death by 1,000 cuts.

  First off, when we arrived, we realized parking was a bit of a nightmare. My F250 could only fit in the driveway running parallel to the road so parking became tighter than expected. Trying to leave the driveway or cross the street to the lake took extreme caution because the house is on a blind corner and cars would come around very quickly. With parking listed for 6 vehicles I assumed that parking my trailer on site wouldn't be any issue. It was very difficult to get the trailer to the rear parking lot because the driveway in is very narrow and has a very sharp curve. The neighbors there sure enjoyed standing outside watching us try to get in being sure to make sure we didn't run over their lawn at all. Once we got it back there, it had to be shoved halfway into the woods and when it was time to leave we had to pull it out by hand and turn it around because there wasn't enough room to maneuver it back out with the truck.

  The dock that you get to tie a boat up to isn't shown anywhere in the photos. You have to dock on the opposite side from what's shown as 3' off the one pictured you're into the neighbors property and he's sure to mention that as well. Unless your boat is 16' or less, you'll have a part of your boat extending back beyond the dock. Make sure to bring good fenders with you as well since the wakes rolling in are no joke.

  Once inside, the house is okay but not great. Certainly a flip job with the usual doors that don't close properly, paint overspray on the kitchen window and blinds etc... The biggest problems we had with the house were that the hot water heater wasn't functioning properly, it'd take 12 - 18 hours to reheat the water after 6 people showered. We also saw many ants, primarily around the kitchen sink and window. There is only one mini split head on the first floor so you need to sleep with the bedroom doors open or you'll get very warm. One of the twin beds had a nasty stain on it and we had to swap the sheets out. The garage would've been a nice place to store some stuff out of the way but was so dusty/dirty we didn't utilize it at all.

  Ultimately, you can get on the lake, with a dock and sleep 8 people fairly comfortably. We were 4 adults/4 kids so the space was adequate. We certainly felt a bit let down when comparing expectations to reality. We will be finding another house for our next trip to the area.

  - We’ve had many large vehicles, including trucks and trailers, successfully navigate the driveway, but we understand your F250 and trailer presented challenges
  - We're looking into adding a photo of the south dock to the listing so future guests can better understand where to tie up their boats
  - The hot water heater was impacted by a local power outage, which delayed its recovery time. We had a plumber address the issue as soon as we were notified. Please note that large "Green Energy" heat pumps may reheat more slowly than traditional heaters
  - We haven’t received prior feedback about paint overspray or doors not closing properly, but we will inspect these areas to ensure everything meets our standards

• Nice and comfortable getaway across the road from Alton Bay

  Presented much like an upscale hotel without the frills. Spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Enjoyed the view and easy access to dock on the water. Disappointed by the lack of ladder for swimming. Had an unsettling first night because of the electronic locks and doors not being able to always fully lock without assistance (resulting in periodic beeping from the locks).

The left dock does have a sandy, sloping water side for easy access in and out of the water, which we’re glad to hear David used easily. Regarding the electronic locks, we included in the Welcome Book that a safety feature is the locks will beep when the doors are not fully closed and locked. We apologize if this information was missed, which led to confusion. When I mentioned this to David, it corrected the situation, and we appreciate your understanding in this matter.
