  • Minimal to no basic amenities

    The basic amenities in the home were insufficient: only hand soap in master bath - none anywhere else in the house, one pod of dishwasher soap, torn bed spreads and pillow cases, only decorator pillows or pillow shams provided for sleeping, mattresses in both bedrooms are broken down memory foam, one set of towels in bathrooms - no replacement towels on site, no towels in guest bathroom, tub in master bath does not drain properly (gross!), only 2 pods of coffee provided at check-in. Upon arrival, the house smelled of wet dog. When I reported these concerns to Vacassa, I was asked why I didn't say something before departure. Quite simply I shouldn't have to say anything about basic amenities. I was on a business trip and had minimal time to manage insufficient service, long hold times on a phone and having to coordinate things that should have been taken care of without comment. While the property was tidy, the discomfort of minimal to no basic amenities is disappointing and the lack of comfortable sleep made it all that much more disatisfying.
