It was a very nice cabin, had some trouble opening lock box, but it was my fault…the remote for the tv was missing, but we made it work. Very nice, clean, equipped cabin.

The sound of the creek and surroundings was wonderful. The house was cozy and well equipped. The fire pit was perfect for campfire cooking. Great location close to grocery stores, gas and multitude of activities. Would stay again and recommend property to others but would share challenges. (see below).Challenges:Listing does not have correct phone#s for Property Manager - she shared correct phone # in pre-trip email communication. We were not prepared for lack of cell phone service so unable to reach property manager or others upon arrival.Steep climb on loose gravel from parking area to house steps to unload and reload luggage and groceries.

We absolutely enjoyed our weekend away. The home was very welcoming and spacious. Spent both evenings by the fire pit. Only complaint was the low water pressure in the showers and no wifi. Don't get me wrong, it was great to be "off the grid", but for a momma and daddy weekend away - it was worrisome that our kids couldn't get in touch with us.
Such a great spot for a quiet getaway.

Loved the home and fire pit area! It was perfect for our weekend for a WCU game to see the Pride of the Mountains Marching Band!! We have two to go to rent places! We will be back! Cheryll is a sweetheart!! Loved the antiques and out side cook stove too!!
