A group of us stayed five nights at the Eagle's Nest. EN had the perfect "configuration" for us which was: 5 bedrooms (EACH with an onsuite bath), with two of the rooms having more than one bed (e.g. I brought my daughter and used one of those rooms, and another "non-couple" was able to use the "bunkroom"). Just prior to our arrival, we were informed that there was an "ac issue" and were offered a complete refund or a very significant discount if we chose to come. This was very gracious and very much appreciated. We chose to come and had a great time. Yes, it did get a little stuff on the third level but overall was very comfortable. On a couple of those nights it was downright chilly, but some folks are very sensitive to temperature. I felt with the windows open and the fans running it was fine. No matter, the discount certainly made that all worthwhile. We enjoyed the hot tub and had a lot of fun with the ping pong table in the garage. We ended up buying some ping pong balls because we kept losing them (sorry guys!). The rooms are huge and lovely. The deck got a ton of use as we would sit out every evening. The kitchen was great and we definitely saved a bunch of money by eating breakfast and taking turns making dinner ever day. All in all, Eagle's Nest was really awesome! Thanks guys!
Had a wonderful time. Highly recommended.

They home is WAY up the mountain on a steep winding road with a steep driveway. It takes about 15 minutes to get up there from the main road. Scary at night or when raining. The house was immaculate with an exceptionally well appointed kitchen and a beautiful fireplace that we used every morning and night. There was enough room for everyone to have their own space. The towels were small, threadbare and rough. The pillows need upgrading. The property manager Vickie was very responsive and really helpful. The back yard is cute but a little treacherous. There needs to be more seating in the living room. (perhaps put the TV over the fireplace and remove the cabinet to allow for a love seat). The seat cushions on the sofa need replacing or refilling.Waynesville and surrounding areas are charming, friendly and fun. Overall we had a great time.

Great stay. Highly recommend this property.
Breathtaking views and plenty of space for my 4 adult children and their wives. We all had our own space and each bedroom had a bathroom. We made lasting memories with lots of laughs in the spacious common areas.
