3/5 Very dirty. Had to scryb everything before using. The downstairs air return vent is so dirty that when the heat kicks on it bangs the vent because no air can get through. There is a lot of damage areas. Host interaction was very good though.

Cleanliness is extremely important to us, and many recent reviews — including the one just prior to your stay — specifically mention how clean and well-maintained the cabin is. I was personally at the property the weekend after your stay and can confirm it was thoroughly cleaned and inspected. We will continue holding our cleaning team to high standards.
Regarding the downstairs air return vent, the sound described is not due to dirt or blockage. The filter was recently replaced. Because the room is next to the HVAC unit, strong airflow can momentarily lift the vent cover when the system cycles on, creating a slight noise.

5/5 We found this rental while planning a long weekend getaway for my daughter’s birthday, and I truly cannot say enough good things about this house. Everything was exceptionally clean, the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed, and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax comfortably. The appliances were all in excellent condition, and the view was absolutely amazing. This home made our weekend even more special, and we would definitely stay here again!I

5/5 This mountain cabin is beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and has a great view. Our young grandchildren enjoyed the visits from the herd of cows. This was our first visit to Waynesvile and we would love to stay here again.
