• Great potential, not a great experience

  Good communication with the host can often cover a lot of issues, but not this time. Although the house was clean and tidy and had many several redeeming qualities it was just literally not ready to be stayed in. Many very simple things could have been avoided. Shower door doesn’t really work, one bedroom door knob is broken, no dish washer detergent despite being told to run it upon check out, no trash bags despite being told to bag up all trash upon check out, light bulbs missing in bathrooms, coffee pods were provided but the coffee maker was missing parts to actually brew a pod, no ice or way to make ice, and no kitchen towels. The house slept 6 people (and there were 5 of us) but they originally only provided 3 bath towels and wash cloths. We had to ask for more and then had to wait a day to get them. There was also random garbage laying around the house in the yard/driveway.

  The worst thing though was the trash cans outside were completely full the whole time. They smelled so bad and so full of flies that you could not be outside.

  Hi Robb, we appreciate your feedback and take it seriously when guests let us know that their stay wasn't as expected. After sending your comments to the homeowner, they wanted to share the following updates:
  - We provided complimentary cold and hot beverages, along with snacks for the children, to enhance your stay.
  - Six towels were initially provided for the 3-day stay. When additional towels were requested, we responded promptly and delivered them the next morning, along with extra garbage bags.
  - We will make sure dishwasher detergent and trash bags are always available for guests.
  - Light bulbs in the bathrooms and the correct parts for the coffee maker will be replaced to avoid future inconvenience.
  - The trash cans are scheduled for pickup on Tuesdays, and while the hot weather might exacerbate odors, we will take measures.
  - We wish you had reached out to us during your stay if you had any other questions or concerns so we could've provided immediate assistance.
