  Bright, Relaxing, and Comfortable StayWe had a wonderful time at this bright and airy home! It’s clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, and the location near the water made it extra special. It’s also just a short drive to plenty of fun things to do in Albemarle. Whether we were enjoying our morning coffee on the porch, taking in the water views, or heading out to explore, it was the perfect home base. We would definitely stay here again!

  The pics of the house are accurate and you can tell it had been renovated. The cove is really shallow and not the best spot to swim. The property is ok but I would not rent it again even if our experience was good….HOWEVER! Our experience was not so good! The back yard was overgrown and prevented our little ones from playing in the area which was very frustrating! The response to this complaint along with the others complaints were not met with any real urgency. Two of the fire detectors were not installed and a 3rd started chirping at 3am, 12 hours later we borrowed a ladder to take care of it ourselves. We found a snake on the bottom level under the Bed that my grandson slept in prompting an evacuation of that level. NOT GOOD!The owners don’t have outside trash cans and require you to transport trash to a community garbage compactor, Bring a truck or risk it.Bring All TP, paper towels, trash bags etc you might need. Bummed about this stay for sure!

  The property was great, I had reserved it for work function and had some special considerations for the reservation... And getting in touch with the host was extremely difficult, and when I did I got the same form email back two or three times in a row. Once the management company sent the check-in in instructions, those instructions had the homeowners contact information in it and I had no issue with them at all.

  We arrived shortly after hurricane Helene came through. The property was clean. Access to the community was easily obtained. The view was beautiful and I enjoyed watching the geese from the balcony. Very peaceful property. The house had what was needed for the short stay. We didn’t cook but used dishes for coffee/takeout. A lot of dishes are provided. Please note there are stairs from the driveway and then to get in the house. This is noted in the description but it bears mentioning again. If you have mobility issues. This may not be the place to stay.

• Prayer Retreat

  My day was phenomenal. It is not often That the pictures online match the place that you book. This place super exceeded my expectations. The host was great at responding in a reasonable time to any Questions I asked And the neighborhood was simply peaceful and breathtaking. We plan on booking this exact place again in the near future.
