Perfect Mountain Summer Getaway!
5/5 This is a beautiful mountain top home. The views are spectacular. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed boating on the lake every day and relaxing on the porch every evening catching amazing sunsets. The carriage house/game room was perfect for our teenage boys. The drive up to the home was a little precarious but my minivan managed just fine. It is worth it for the view. The host was very helpful before, during and after our stay. This was a perfect place to beat the summer heat! We would definitely book again.

Nice cabin that can use some repairs.
4/5 The pros:
Cabin was well equipped with everything we needed.
Beds were very comfortable.
Views are awesome
The cons:
Property can use some repairs (deadbolts hard to operate, outside deck and railing dated)
Driveway is steeper than description. We had trouble getting up during dry days and spun wheels several times.
Lots of spiders and webs inside. It’s a cabin in the woods but it was more than expected.
Basement stairs are uneven and slopped incorrectly which caused my wife to fall.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and these minor improvements could have made it even better.

Dream come true booking
5/5 This has got to be, by far, my favorite VRBO booking! This was nothing short than a dream come true. We got married at Nantahala Weddings and the location was PERFECT! The views this house offered were SPECTACULAR! We were greeted with a congratulatory bottle of wine and Ghirardelli chocolates. Along with souvenir coffee cups. Communication was easy and timely. 10/10 would definitely stay here again!
