This home was a great size and space for our multi family Christmas trip! It was about 30 minutes from the NC Train Museum in Spencer NC where we took our grandkids to ride the Polar Express. It was very convenient to town and any shopping. Very nice, established neighborhood! We were able to prepare a few meals there. It is an older home that has been preserved well and offered many interesting things to look at and discuss. There were tons of things for the children to do and the basement den was a dream for the kiddos! The host was very available through texting which I appreciated! It was a wonderful memory made!

This was a great place to stay for a large family experience. Lots of games to choose from and fun places to gather. Nice sleeping accommodations and lots of bathrooms. If you have allergies to musty smell this place might be a challenge. It did get a little better when we were able to open windows.

We stayed 30 minutes from Spencer, NC, because we needed a place big enough for our big family. This place definitely fits the bill. The house was dated but beautiful. It had everything any family could need to feel at home. Toys for the kids, two kitchens, plenty of room if you wanted to watch football on one TV and the Polar Express on the other, we did it. The house had everything we needed in the kitchen. I was worried about my spaghetti. I brought my own pots, but didn't need them because the kitchen had everything right there. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are looking forward to next year's adventure again to the Polar Express since its a family tradition. Beth, the guest liaison, is phenomenal. She was just a phone call away and right there when we had questions. If you are looking for a house that will be everything you need, this is the house.
We had a wonderful time at this lovely family home. The home feels like the family just stood up and handed you the keys. It clearly has been a loving environment for many, many years. It is not pet-friendly, so you see the signs of family pets throughout. Our beagle was very happy there. The yard is amazing and great for little ones! It is also close to everything in Thomasville and High Point. My entire family loved the experience! Would definitely take the family back.
