This is our 2nd time staying at this beautiful place. Amenities at this resort are excellent, such as pool/jacuzzi/ sauna/gym. Panorama is unique. Plenty parking, staff is friendly and professional.
Owner is helpful, kind and caring. Apartment is large enough, comes with 2 full bath, one of bedroom comes with enormous bunkbed. Close to Banner Elk, Sugar top Mountain, Boone
Our family loves this home away from home.
Definitely we are planning to go back.
We are returning guests at the Castle in the Cloud. Very satisfied as always. The owner is super helpful, very quick to reply. We love the condo, the view is amazing, the mattresses in the bedrooms are ever so comfortable. The amenities in the building are great.
The condo is very functional overall and has amazing views. All essentials were present including kitchen supplies and bathroom linens. It was clean, and nicely decorated. Overall I'd say it was a good place to stay, but there were a couple of things I would to know about....
1.The condo only has overhead lights in the bathrooms and dining/kitchen areas, rest of home relies on lamps. Insufficient lamps were present.
2.Bathtubs are terribly slippery.
3.Beware, guests have to park in lots that are quite a ways from the building and you ride a shuttle. The shuttle is difficult for older people or people who have joint issues to get on/off.
4.The guest bedroom has bunk double beds, which are great for housing many people, but not so easy for older people. The room they are in is small, so not much room outside of the bed.
Now, on a lighter note, again, views spectacular and I would not have missed this trip for anything (including my broken arm).
Everything was clean and very roomy. The view was beautiful and very peaceful. The resort was beautiful and all the staff was extremely nice and very helpful.
Condo was nice and roomy! Not many places close to eat so we ended up doing a food lion trip but the kitchen was well equipped for home cooked meals. Kids loved the pool and hot tub and wildcat lake which was nearby and great for fishing and grilling out with the family!
