  The house was perfect for my friends and I to hangout on the lake! My only suggestion is that extra sheets are kept somewhere in the house in case someone plans on sleeping on the futon or pullout (the housekeeper came by to drop sheets off, but would probably be easier for all of there was just an extra set readily available, especially because we got in late after the crowdstrike meltdown!)

• The perfect lake house

  I recently had the pleasure of staying at this Sherrills Ford property on beautiful Lake Norman, and I must say it was an incredible experience. The house had everything we needed and more. It was immaculately clean and well-kept, making us feel right at home.

  The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring the lake. But the real highlight of the property was the dock access. Being able to bring our boat and easily access the water from the dock was a game-changer. The convenience of having our own boat ramp on the property made it a breeze to drop the boat off and pull it back in.

  I must also mention our gracious host, Melinda. Her hospitality was truly exceptional. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and provided us with valuable recommendations for local attractions and dining options. Her warm and welcoming nature made our stay even more enjoyable.

  Overall, our experience exceeded our expectations. We had a fantastic time exploring the lake and surrounding areas, and we can't wait to come back. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located house with excellent dock access and a wonderful host, look no further. This is the place for you.

• The Perfect Weekend

  The property does not have amazing curb appeal but once inside, everything was perfect for a couples' weekend away! It was spacious and able to accommodate everyone nicely. The access to the lake was ideal and convenient. The only recommendations that we would make for an even more enhanced experience are as follows: the dishwasher did not seem to wash well; it would be nice to have a roll-up screen on the lower, back porch, and a screen or glass door downstairs leading to that porch; coasters for the tables and nightstands would also prolong the life of the furniture pieces. Finally, it would be nice to have a complete cooking set of non-stick pots and pans. Although we are making these recommendations, we still had a blast because we know that where we stay is a large part of a perfect weekend, but the most important part of the perfect weekend is who we spent it with!
