  • Don’t waist your money like we did!!!

    Arrived on a Friday evening after driving 14 hours to get here . Looked at the house there was only 4 pots and pans bare items for kitchen. Dirty towel in the broken washer.. only realized it was broken after we dumped laundry detergent on to our clothes. One of the showers had no shower head just a broken pipe out of the wall. No door knob on bathroom. Deck rails were not attached to house and had a one and half foot gap for a lid to fall through along with other missing boards on deck railing. No trash cans anywhere . Food all over cabinet doors and inside old food in cabinets (crumbs) a tone or rotten deck boards going down to dock and no broom or anything to clean up with. After reporting this the owner called at md asker us at 9/30 pm to leave the house and telling us to just find a hotel or another air B and B .. after refusing to since we drove 14 hours that day we had to agree to email a letter stating if we got hurt he was not reliable for anything. I would love to add pics to this but it will not allow

    - The washer and dryer were brand new before your stay and we're very sorry to hear that there was an issue with this. They have both been replaced and are working well.
    - A new shower head has been installed and the doorknob has been fixed.
    - The deck is safe for adults to use but we take these claims very seriously. When we learned that you felt unsafe, we offered to refund you in full if you wanted to relocate. This offer was denied, as you reassured us that you wanted to stay at the property. We have high standards of hospitality for our service and apologize if you experienced anything other than this in our conversation.
    - The deck is in the process of being redone.
    We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
