  I will never rent from Evolve again.The representative assigned to us was unreachable by text or call. When I contacted the main line, customer service was rude, and the rep who eventually returned our call was dismissive.Upon arrival, we found the outdoor water feature filled with leaves and stagnant water—a potential breeding ground for mosquitoes and an obvious safety concern. When I raised this, I was told, “Nobody has ever complained about that before,” which felt dismissive rather than helpful.More concerning, the detached suite—listed as part of our reservation—was not available. We received no notice or explanation in advance, which amounted to either false advertising or a serious failure in communication. As a result, one guest in our party didn’t have a room.That said, the main house itself was beautiful. It was well-stocked, comfortable, and in a perfect location. The private dock was easily our favorite feature. One helpful suggestion: include simple instructions for operating the elevator, heated floors, and thermostat.If the stay had matched the property’s promise, this could have been a glowing review. Unfortunately, poor communication and a lack of professionalism made it a frustrating experience.

• Beautiful property

  The location and house were beautiful.

  There were 8 of us who cooked all three nights and the kitchen layout was fantastic.

  The pantry was well stocked.
