Peaceful mountain retreat!
5/5 The upper unit at Thunder Mountain has everything you need for a perfect stay! Clean and spacious! Plenty of parking on the grounds, particularly for motorcycles! And, 2 garages for parking as well! Also offers a pressure washer and towels to wash off bikes!
One of the smoke alarms needed a battery change when we arrived, in which, the owner was very responsive in taking care of this for us! Outside security cameras and lighting was a plus for us so we felt safe during our stay. Anytime I had a question, the owner was very responsive in which we appreciated very much! Will definitely return to Thunder Mountain on our next trip to the area!

5/5 Loved our experience in this cabin! We stayed here for a local car gathering at the tail of the dragon and loved being right on the Cherohala Skyway for some quick mountain runs whenever we pleased. We also enjoyed seeing all the other vehicles coming and going throughout the weekend!

5/5 Great stay.. quiet and peaceful. Having the garage for the bikes made it like being at home .. and no wet bikes In the morning to wipe down . Ride .. Grill .. then Chill . Thunder Mountain lodge has all the bases covered. 10/10 experience.

4/5 It was a good place to stay in, the only draw back was the steep staircase. The place was clean and tidy. A real coffee maker make it even better.
