Located just up the hill off the Moonshiner28 and just 20 minutes from the Tail of the Dragon and the Cherohala Skyway, this cabin grants unparalleled access to some of the major runs moonshiners used back in the day - motorcycle nirvana.
Travel 103 miles of winding roads with incredible mountain vistas and waterfall views through Franklin and Highlands North Carolina before turning southward into Georgia and South Carolina ending in Walhalla.
For other fun ideas, visit the Fontana Dam, hike to Abrams Falls, spend the day at Stoney Hollow Farm, go on a tour with Paddle Inn Rafting Company, or lose yourself in the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest.
The property is just 15 minutes from the town of Robbinsville, where you'll find a large Ingles grocery store and a variety of restaurant options.

A Breath of Fresh Air
5/5 The Coop was perfect for relaxing and resting. It had EVERYTHING you could need... so well equipped and maintained. Craig was so very helpful. He went far beyond necessary to make sure that we had all that we wanted to make our stay delightful. We celebrated our 60th anniversary in the midst of God's rich creation and it will be a memory that will last the rest of our lives. We took scenic drives which were awe-inspiring, but the greatest blessing was just reading and relaxing on the back, screened-in porch of the Coop. Ahh, so peaceful and so restful. We definitely hope to return.

Hidden gem
5/5 An ideal escape into nature. You’ll be nestled in the woods alongside a neighboring cabin, though you’ll otherwise feel surrounded by nature. The cabin was well furnished with all the essentials that you may need for either a short or long stay.

Peaceful and Off the Beaten Path
5/5 This is a lovely and cozy home that met all of our basic needs while traveling. It was clean, had an equipped kitchen and bathroom and a beautiful porch. The location is perfect if you're looking to avoid the super touristy areas around the Smokies, with plenty of breathtaking nearby hikes and water. Our 4-wheel drive vehicle didn't have any issues getting up the driveway, but it's worth noting that for people not used to driving in the mountains, it was a little nerve wracking. Also good to note to pay attention to the video/directions to arrive, as our GPS led us to the wrong home. Finally, the main bed is extremely comfortable, but the pullout bed should be left for little kids or pets. Overall I have no regrets and we had an amazing time.
