This house was amazing. It was well stocked with all the amenities needed to enjoy time on the lake and on rainy days. The house was clean and the appliances were new. My boys even caught a 30 lb catfish off the end of the pier. Loved every minute we were there.

Amazing house! Amazing property!
The perks:
*So nice that it includes all the “extra” necessities!
*Fully stocked kitchen/bathroom/everything!
*Soooo peaceful!
*Kayaks and peddle boat a great amenity!
*Really really great fishing!!
The “ugh’s”:
-The hill is a bit hard if you are older.
-There’s no place on the lake to rent a boat or jet skis. If you’re looking to do that you need to drive to Lake Gaston and only get it for a daily rental. We originally didn’t know the dam would make the two lakes impassable via boat. So we rented boat for multiple days and then had the boat company give us a very hard time because we were not able to follow through with the multiple day booking since we had no where to dock the boat overnight. Unless you can find someone who delivers boats to you. Which we couldn’t since it was last minute. But if you are aware of this and pre plan I’m sure you could find something.
We would DEFINITELY stay here again!
Gem of a piece of property with plenty to do indoors and out. Exceptional amenities including fenced playground, pedal boat, kayaks, innumerable seating groupings out of doors, two firepits, a telescope, board games galore and fascinating books. Home decor conducive to lake front enjoyment. Owner quickly responsive to questions. We had a wonderful time.

Our entire experience was perfect. The location on a quiet part of the lake made for such a relaxing trip. Our children were able to play off the dock without constant worry about being run-over by speedboats. The kayaks were so wonderful to have to get a little further out from the dock.
Our youngest definitely enjoyed the game room with billiards and arcade game while the adults enjoyed the multiple different areas to relax/gather to enjoy others' company or steal away by themselves.
The house, itself, was incredibly well-stocked. We truly wanted for nothing.
Thanks for a lovely stay!
Janet
The property was amazing. House was clean and notes around the house were helpful. Loved all the seating that allowed my family to easily gather together and catch up. Dock was great for the pontoon. You could sit and just take in the view for hours. We had a fantastic stay.
