We took a quick weekend trip and found the cottage to be impeccably clean. Great, fast communication with owners. The kitchen had what we needed and the beds were comfortable. We will say "secluded" in the title isn't quite as secluded, but that did not affect our 5-star rating because we loved it so much and the neighborhood was super quiet. The garden out front is gorgeous, too. We would definitely book again.
SO much to do in the area! If you're looking for ideas, we spent a wonderful 2 days hiking to see waterfalls at DuPont Forest, lunch at Ecusta Brewing, tubing twice down the French Broad River, dinner and live music at Mills River Brewing, walking around downtown Brevard, driving up Hwy. 276 through Pisgah Forest to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and into downtown Asheville.

Our family had a fantastic time staying at this cottage. It had everything we needed, and the updated inside was decorated well (we liked the bike theme). The driveway to get there was fine with a regular car, the kitchen was fully stocked, and it was nice to have a dryer to dry off our clothes from tubing so we didn't have to carry them home wet. We liked that there was a fire pit and grill but didn't get to use either due to time. One thing I will say is it can feel like you're secluded, but there are houses all around. It was super quiet and peaceful with a vibrant, lush front yard in bloom. We texted the contact to say hello and goodbye, and they answered immediately both times.
This location has so, so much to do -- we selected The Hooker/Triple/High Falls hike at DuPont Forest, lunch at Ecusta Brewery, tubing on French Broad River with Brevard Tubing, a bit of rest back at the cottage, and live music, more great food, and fabulous drinks at Mills River Brewing. We hung out the next day in downtown Brevard and Asheville. 10/10 would recommend and return if we take another trip to the area!
This property is comfortable and clean, very well appointed kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Listing says “secluded” - we didn’t feel it was in a secluded location. Overall a great place though!

The house was lovely and well appointed. The deck was a big hit with everyone and provided hours of bird watching. This was our first Vrbo experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Next time we'll planning a longer stay!

Perfect cottage with everything that we'll thought of by the owners. Loved the fire pit nights with grilling on the Weber. Very comfy beds and plenty of linens. All was Super Clean!!!!!
