Perfect location
3/5 We have stayed at the Salt Shack several times in the past. You can’t beat the location! The unit did not appear as clean as with previous stays…especially floors and countertops. But during this stay we encountered numerous water bugs (roaches) even on bed.

- The Salt Shack is treated regularly to prevent pests, but during your stay, Oak Island experienced a tropical storm, which led to flooding underneath the condo building. This kind of weather event can unfortunately cause bugs to move inside
- We deeply value your feedback about cleanliness and will address the concerns with the cleaning team to ensure that the high standards you’ve experienced in the past are maintained

5/5 House was clean, and perfect for our little family. We had no issues the entire time we were there. And to our surprise there was a small washer and dryer! I was a little worried because it was not listed as having one. We walked almost everywhere and the beach is just a few steps away. Very satisfied with our stay and plan to stay again sometime.
