Cozy Cottage
5/5 I enjoyed my stay at Oak Island Cottage. It was convenient to local stores as well as the ocean, while also being in a quiet area, which I enjoyed. The cottage was large enough for the two of us and very cozy. The owner also texted me the next day to make sure everything was okay and that I was enjoying the nice day!
5/5 I was everything we wanted, had all the needed amenities, and the owners were only a text away would definitely stay again

Close by and quaint
4/5 We really enjoyed staying here. Our favorite part was riding around on their cute bikes to shops and the beach. Everything was about a 10 minute bike ride away! We wouldn’t recommend these bikes for long distance rides but short term strolls are lovely. They are old street cruisers, good for cruising. Anyway, the house was VERY clean, we arrived late and weren’t huge fans of having to make the bed when we got there, but there are definitely worse things. There also isn’t filtered water here so we recommend bringing your own water unless you want to drink from the kitchen faucet. Bed was SUPER comfy, house was warm, little outdoor screened patio was great to get air without bugs (because NC is buggy). Quiet neighborhood. Overall great stay.
