Upon our arrival, I had forgotten that the description said that one of bedrooms was
in a small separate attached bldg. This was such a blessing! I needed to have my own
space! One of them being, I was with someone who snores quite loudly! :)
Everything was clean, and nicely decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen and
great to have a fireplace for cold days. A deck to sit outside is a nice touch as well.
The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful, and having an amazing golf course close enough to walk to was a huge plus!!
We love the trails in the neighborhood and all the activities. Really quiet and peaceful area.
It is so strikingly clean and well-kept! Also had very timely help from our contact Traci when I locked the keys inside the first evening! Had everything I needed, even laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Our unique problem was at arrival when we tried to take the motorcycle off the trailer. the driveways were just not as big as they appeared to be in the listing. Our neighbor to the back of us was very helpful when he saw our dilemma and even offered to move his truck, which turned out not to be necessary. Once we had it off the trailer, it wasn't an issue until the day we left when we loaded it on again. So I'm glad it wasn't a daily issue and once it was off, there was room for everything, but a bit cramped.
Everything else was a great home away from home and it's beautifully decorated; I love the open ceilings/beams!
My mother and I enjoyed our stay. My grand niece was with us one night. She saw fireflies for the first time in your yard!Your place is located close to Grandfather Mountain and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Both of these places were the draw to our stay in your cabin. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time visiting our son in this VRBO. We enjoyed every meal and happy hour on the deck. The location was great. The space was perfect. What would have made it better? The extra bedroom has a strong musty smell. The kitchen does not have the right utensils for cooking. If you plan to eat out, great! No spatula to flip an egg. One spoon suitable for stirring on the stove. Knives were barely adequate.
