• Disappointing for the price.

  The house is nice but needed a lot of TLC. The check in was very inconvenient. We called to ask about a possibility of early check in. Didn’t get an answer. Left message. Received text back stating cleaner had been in accident so it wouldn’t be ready for early check in. We were almost there for our 4pm check in and received a text at 4:01 that it would be 5pm before we could check in because previous renters had pets. We had our boat so it was very inconvenient. We asked if we could park the boat on property until we could check in and were told yes but the same vehicle that had been on the property the day before was parked in the driveway blocking the space so we we’re unable to leave our boat. We waited outside of the residence for over an hour. During this time the owner of the property noticed us waiting and stopped by to try to get everything resolved. We’re were finally able to get in after 5pm. Then the property was unsanitary with grease on the floor in the kitchen and multiple other cleanliness issues. We fought ants the entire stay. There were multiple safety issues including broken step. The owner has been made aware as well as property manager.

  Hi Lori, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we sincerely apologize that your experience fell short of expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they’d like to share the following:
  - We regret the inconvenience you faced with the delayed check-in. The cleaner’s car accident led to an unfortunate delay, and we understand how frustrating this was, especially with your boat. We have asked the management team to ensure better communication in the future.
  - The property is under a pest contract with Ridapest and they responded the next day to spray for ants. We’re sorry this impacted your stay, and future guests should not encounter this issue.
  - The kitchen floor has been professionally cleaned to address the grease, and the property will undergo a deep cleaning to resolve any other cleanliness issues.
  - The deck has been inspected, and the broken step has been replaced. The entire deck has been re-evaluated by a contractor to ensure there are no further safety concerns.
  - We will consider adding non-slip strips to the hall bath shower for additional safety, and explore additional options as well.
  - We are looking into the mini-blinds and the refrigerator has been thoroughly cleaned. We’re also ensuring all bedding is inspected after every guest stay and is replaced as needed to meet our cleanliness standards.
  
  We truly appreciate your understanding during this learning process and are confident that future guests will have a much-improved experience.

  Easy check-in, fun/nice layout and everything in good shape. The dual shower head master bath was a hit. We had a nice 2 night visit.
