Quiet Cabin
5/5 This was my second time at the Bear Cabin and look forward to many more. My Golden Retrievers love running around the yard and trying to chase the wildlilfe. I like the porch being gated off so I didn't have to worry about them wondering off.

5/5 5/5 Fireplace doesn't work
3/5 A cabin without a fireplace just isn't the same. It has one but it doesn't work. I called the given number and the guy told me it hasn't worked for over a year.
My girl and I were very disappointed over this!
Other than the the cabin is very nice.

Owner's response: Dean, We work hard to provide a clean and comfortable home for all our guests to be able to enjoy, rest and relax.
- The fireplace works great when you understand the directions on how to get it started. We provide very specific instructions in our welcome book they include a step-by-step process. When you called you were not told it hadn't worked for over a year they told you it had not been started this season because it hadn't been cold enough. We're sorry you misunderstood this.
- We were very disappointed in the way you treated our home, you did not clean up after your pets and left several things in disarray costing us additional fees for an additional deep cleaning. We only ask that our guests treat our home with respect and leave it the way they found it.
We are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver for the 5-star experiences we are known for.Great Cabin
