Short trip to the outer banks
5/5 My adult children and their significant others came out to NC for a visit and we took a short, two day trip to the outer banks. This house fulfilled all of our expectations. It is clean, quaint, quiet and well appointed. The neighborhood is gorgeous and it is a short walk to the waterfront downtown of Manteo. The hosts couldn't have been nicer. We received a wonderful welcome present on our arrival and the hosts let us know they were there if we had any issues (which we did not).
Check in was taken care of before we got there and check out was a breeze as well.
We loved the house and will be back. I think we might have found evidence of the lost colony of Roanoke Island in the backyard.
