  The pictures don’t capture just how cozy this cabin is. I wanted a location that captured the mountain experience and it definitely did! The owners even had a bottle of wine and chocolates waiting for us upon arrival… such a sweet and personal touch! We have rented homes before but this one has the best accommodations (comfortable beds, fans provided in the bedrooms, fire place, gorgeous deck, etc). Highly recommend renting for a family of four… super close to grocery stores and restaurants, snow tubing and lots of hiking.

• Mountain home away from home

  My wife and I stayed at this beautiful cabin September 14-21 and had a wonderful visit! The cabin was decorated tastefully and was well equipped. All linens were supplied and the kitchen was nicely appointed, very much appreciated as we love to cook. The cabin is a short drive to the blue ridge parkway, which we explored all week. Mt Mitchell, Linville falls, multiple water fall are all an easy drive. We loved our time at the cabin and look forward to returning soon.

• Clean and well supplied

  They need to tell people only one sofa bed can be used. We had no internet for 2 of the 4 days there. We had no TV for three of the 4 days there. The owner did work at getting things fixed. I think he was frustrated with us, but it was not our fault.

  Hi Wilma, we take guest feedback seriously and always seek to clarify any misunderstandings or concerns. After following up with the homeowner, they’d like to share the following:
  - Our listing is accurate in stating that we have two sleeper sofas in the living room—one with an inflatable mattress and the other with a traditional pull-out. Additionally, there’s a couch in front of the primary bedroom in the loft that can sleep one person.
  - When you tried inflating the air mattress on the day of your arrival, the valves weren’t closed properly, which caused the mattress to deflate overnight. We offered to assist, but you declined and decided to use the pull-out sofa instead. Both the air mattress and the pull-out sofa are in good working order. If these options didn’t meet your needs, the loft couch was available and required no setup.
  - The internet issue stemmed from a severe thunderstorm the night before your arrival, which caused an electrical surge and damaged one of the routers in the main house. While the internet in our loft wasn’t affected, we weren’t aware of the problem in the main house until Sunday morning. We spent the day troubleshooting, then bought range extenders to restore service. After setting them up, we had the internet back up and running by late Sunday evening. It's worth mentioning that T-Mobile's service is limited in this area, while Verizon tends to work better.
  - The TVs in the house are streaming-based, and they were fully operational. We showed you how to use them, but there may have been some confusion with their operation. Unfortunately, by the time you notified us, you were already on your way out, so we weren’t able to help.
  The homeowner works hard to provide a wonderful guest experience and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied visitors.

  Clean, eclectic cabin. The master bed creaked loudly every time you rolled over. Overall good location.
