• Wonderful house, great location, excellent host

  We stayed with a group of five adults for a trip to Deal’s Gap and just loved this house! The place is beautifully renovated and decorated with lovely landscaping. We were particularly pleased with the paved parking available for our five Honda S2000s. The location is about five miles to Robbinsville and about a 15 minute drive to Deal’s Gap (a.k.a. Tail of the Dragon).

  The house is well-stocked with many upgraded items and had everything we needed to cook some meals and grill some steaks. There were really nice personal touches throughout (some fresh flowers, water bottles in the fridge, etc.) and the beds were very comfortable. The host/owner (Aura) was very communicative and immediately responsive to any questions that we had. You can tell she takes great pride in the house and in making us feel welcome and comfortable.

  The view from the deck and lakeside bedroom is gorgeous. There isn’t direct lake access, but there is a stairway down to the road below where you can go to the public access or make friends with a neighbor with a dock, but we weren’t there to swim or boat.

  Highly recommended; we plan to stay there again.

  Great house. Three bathrooms for three bedrooms, plus 2 pullouts. Great location near the lake, but not ON the lake. For lake access, you’ll need to go to the public access spot a short drive down the road, or make friends with a neighbor with a dock! Quiet neighborhood. Comfy bedrooms. The pullout couch in the loft is not comfortable, unfortunately. Otherwise, great property.

  The house is well stocked with everything you could need for a family or group. One of the nicest we've stayed at, easy check in and plenty of room for all of us. We enjoyed walking the road, everyone we met on our walks were welcoming and friendly.

  The house was every thing as advertised. We had a great stay. A bigger TV would be nice.
