• Such a Peaceful Place

  We love the Highlands/Cashiers area and needed to get out of the Florida heat. We chose this rental because it had a fenced in yard so, we could bring our pups.

  It was perfect! The home was decorated so nicely and was well appointed. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The new counter ice maker was very convenient

  It's located 5-10 minutes from downtown Highlands. Cashiers is only about 20 minutes away so, it was a perfect location.

  The road it's on is very quiet and we enjoyed walking the dogs, everyday. Just being able to sit outside, on the porch and enjoy the cool mountain air was wonderful!

  Landy was extremely helpful and always got back to us promptly.

  We enjoyed our stay so much, we rented it out for another month, next summer. Highly recommend!

  House was very nice, clean and equipped with all the items you may need. Pups loved the porch and fenced yard. Owner also reached out to us prior to our trip, which was a nice touch.

• What a Peaceful Place to Stay!

  We live in Florida and decided to get out of the summer heat. We rented this place for the entire month of August and are so happy we did.

  The home is tastefully decorated and well appointed. We didn’t have to bring anything, for the kitchen.

  We were loving the fact our pups could come with us. The fenced in yard was perfect! We loved the fact that they put gates, up on the porch. This allowed us to sit out there and not worry about the dogs running off.

  We had fun making s’mores sitting around the beautiful fire pit.

  The house sits perfectly between Highlands and Cashiers. It’s peaceful and quiet all the time.

  Landy was wonderful to work with and responded quickly with any question we had.

  We were actually sad when it came time to pack up and leave. We loved it so much, we rented it again for next summer.

  I can't say enough good things about this property. It looks like it has recently been refurbished and it was done very well. The bedrooms were good sized with very comfortable beds (although you may need a step stool to get into them). The living room is also very comfortable with all the electronics one would need including a good selection of DVDs and a player. The kitchen was appointed with up-to-date appliances including a great coffee maker that could accommodate either K-cups or ground coffee. There is also a counter-top ice maker which we used extensively. Outside is a deck with nice furniture, a gas fire table and a gas barbeque. There is a large, fenced-in lawn where the pups could run to their heart's content. Beyond that was a large fire ring and surrounding chairs which, unfortunately, we didn't take advantage of.Highlands is only a 15-minute drive away with a selection of shops and good restaurants (which are pretty spendy considering the fare).As I said, I can't say enough nice things about this property and would re-rent it in a heartbeat.

• Wonderful stay

  This home is very nice and super comfortable! Host is exceptional and extremely responsive. She has considered everything to help guests enjoy their stays. We loved our time here!
