  • Mountain Air and Waterfalls

    5/5

For winter, we had some good weather. Still too cold to hang out on the outside porch which is the best place to hang. I don't know if it's a good idea, but I would suggest an outdoor heater that way you could hang out on the outside porch more in the winter. One of the outdoor path lights was out so I recommend fixing that. But those are both just being picky. Overall the place is a great value and well maintained. And the mountain air is so clean and the water falls are so close.

    5/5

This cabin was the perfect size for our 4 person family (kids ages 12 and 15). The beds were very comfortable in both rooms, blackout curtains in rooms kept sunlight out for us to sleep in, fireplace was fully stocked with needed tools, and front patio would have been amazing to use if it wasn’t below freezing. Kitchen had some updated items (coffee maker, fridge) but rest of things were very “loved.” Location to town was close but I wouldn’t say “walking distance” unless you want to walk on narrow roads with traffic. Overall a fabulous place to stay!!!

  • Highlands Cabin

    5/5

The cabin was everything we had hoped—charming, rustic, clean and very comfortable with higher end fixtures in the primary bathroom and very comfortable king bed. The weather was lovely so we were able to take advantage of the screened-in porch. Fun restaurants in downtown Highlands, which was only a 5 minute drive, and easy drives to many trailheads.

    5/5

We had a great stay! Cozy home, very clean and well appointed. Bonuses were. The large screened in porch and short distance from the downtown area. We’ll be back for sure.

  • Cozy cottage Great location

    5/5

This cozy cottage was a great place for my wife and I to celebrate our first year wedding anniversary. The cottage was in a great location. Very close to downtown and hiking trails.
