  We loved our week! The screened porch is so neat and the beds were so comfortable! Beautiful yard, trees and garden. We ate every meal on the porch and played games at the table after dinner. The living space is small but with such a large screened porch we just spent most of our time out there. Beautiful bathrooms and bedrooms. Our kids loved doing puzzles in the game room between hikes! We felt so blessed to spend a week at this lovely cottage!

• The perfect retreat

  If I could give this place more than five stars, I would. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The cottage itself is decorated to the nines—every detail was thoughtfully curated, immaculate, and insanely comfortable.

  Honestly, the setup was so amazing that we almost hated leaving to explore North Carolina Highlands! It was the ultimate place to unwind, decompress, and completely recharge. It had absolutely everything we could have wanted and more.

  If you're looking for a relaxing, high-end mountain getaway, this is it. We’re already counting down the days until we can come back!

  This cottage was absolutely perfect for our girls' trip. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The cottage was so cozy, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and amazingly well stocked. The outdoor deck is perfect for relaxing (or doing morning yoga). The location is idyllic - but still a short drive to downtown Highlands and to lots of great hiking. Our host was wonderful. We enjoyed great communication, with thoughtful touches to make us feel welcome. I would highly recommend this lovely home and hope to return in the future.
